সঙ্গী চাই

যে দিকে এগিয়ে যায়
ছায়া নিজের সাথে
পথ চলা আওয়াজ হীন
ভয় লাগে হিয়াতে।
পথ চলা একলা ঘাটে
কথা বলার কেউ নাই
অলস লাগে দুঃখও লাগে
গল্প করার সঙ্গী চাই।
যে বলবে কেমন আছো
প্রশ্ন করবে যতো বেশি
যে করবে মন শান্ত
মুখে থাকবে মৃদু হাসি।
দুজন মিলে কথা বলে
দুঃখ যেমন চলে যায়
একলা যেন না বুঝি
এমন একটি সঙ্গী চাই।
না জানা সময় যেটা
মন করে অশান্ত
জীবন নামক ফুলটি
থাকে যেন অনন্ত।
জোড়া জোড়া সব কিছু
যা আছে ভুবনে
সেটাই তো সঙ্গ জীবন
আমি চাই মনে মনে।
দেওয়া নেওয়ার হিসাব
বড্ড যে তা ভয় পায়
হিসাব কষার সহমতী
চিরসঙ্গী আমার চাই।
থাকুক সুস্থ দেহ মন
যে হবে মোর সঙ্গী
একে ওপরের দায়িত্বে
ভুলে যাবো একাকী।
একটু আদর একটু রাগ
মোটে মোটেই আড়ি
মন থেকে খুব সুন্দর
যেন পায় তাড়াতাড়ি।
সর্বদা সাথ দিবে যে
পাবো যে তাঁর রায়
জীবন যুদ্ধে আগাবে যে
এমন সঙ্গী চাই।
