লিটল ম্যাগাজিনের প্রতিযোগিতায় পরপর দুবার-1992 ও 1993 সালে প্রথম পুরস্কার লাভ করে তাঁর পত্রিকা ‘আবার এসেছি ফিরে’। 2012-তে বাংলা আকাদেমি প্রথম পুরস্কার পান।
2014 সালে সারা ভারত লিটল ম্যাগাজিনের প্রতিযোগিতায় প্রথম পুরস্কার পান, সেই সঙ্গে পান সাদার হাসান মাল্টো পুরস্কারও।
ভগবানগোলার অনন্য সাধারণ ব্যক্তিত্ব লেখক এবাদুল হক।
